The 2026 Volkswagen ID. ERA 9X is a flagship, full-size, six-seat extended-range electric SUV available for export from China through Brabus.

Max / Ultra AWD versions: Feature a 65.2 kWh ternary lithium battery, offering a CLTC pure-electric driving range of 406 km and a maximum combined CLTC range of 1,651 km.

Charging Technology:

The Volkswagen ID. ERA 9X features an advanced 800V high-voltage electrical architecture and supports DC ultra-fast charging.

The 51.1 kWh battery version supports charging from 10% to 80% in approximately 19 minutes, while the 65.2 kWh battery versions can complete the same charging process in approximately 16.5 minutes under suitable fast-charging conditions.

The Max and Ultra versions are equipped with dual-chamber air suspension and DCC continuously variable damping, offering up to 150 mm of ride-height adjustment and an intelligent Magic Carpet system that anticipates road conditions to enhance ride comfort and stability.
