The Leapmotor B01 is a compact, all-electric sedan built on Leapmotor’s B-platform. It features a rear-wheel-drive configuration, a range of 590/670 km, 800V fast-charging capability, LiDAR-based intelligent driving, and dual zero-gravity front seats.

Leapmotor B01 Powertrain and Range: Features a rear-mounted single motor with power outputs of 100/132/160/180/185 kW. Acceleration from 0–100 km/h ranges from 9.4 seconds (430 version) to 6.1 seconds (670 version). Equipped with lithium iron phosphate (LFP) batteries with capacities of 43.9/56.2/60.8/67.1/69.7 kWh, offering CLTC-rated ranges of 430/550/590/650/670 km. The long-range version utilizes an 800V silicon carbide (SiC) platform, enabling a 30%–80% fast charge in approximately 16–18 minutes.
Chassis: Employs a front MacPherson strut and rear multi-link suspension setup, tuned through a joint Chinese-European effort. It features a 50:50 weight distribution and a minimum turning radius of 5.25 meters. Higher-trim models include a tire-blowout stabilization control system. The vehicle does not offer air suspension or all-wheel drive.

Intelligent Driving: The LiDAR-equipped version features a 128-beam LiDAR, 27 sensing components, and a Qualcomm 8650 chip (200 TOPS). It supports Highway NOA (Navigate on Autopilot), Commute Pilot, Memory Parking, and AEB (Automatic Emergency Braking) operating between 4–130 km/h. The “Comfort” (Shuxiang/Yuexiang) trims come with basic Level 2 ADAS.
Cockpit: Powered by the 8295P chip, it includes an 8.8-inch instrument cluster and a 14.6-inch central touchscreen (upgraded to a 17.3-inch 3K display in the 2027 model), with an AR-HUD available on higher-end trims. It runs on Leapmotor OS, integrated with the Tongyi Qianwen and DeepSeek AI models. Features include eco-friendly, “maternal-and-infant grade” bamboo-charcoal-infused seating, dual zero-gravity front seats (with ventilation, heating, and massage functions), a 14-speaker “Leap Sound” audio system, and a panoramic glass roof.
