Positioned as a mid-size SUV, the Sealion 06 measures 4810mm in length, 1920mm in width, and 1675mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2820mm and a 5-door, 5-seat layout. Its exterior adopts BYD’s Ocean Aesthetics design language, offering two front-end styles: the DM-i version features a parametric starlight matrix grille, while the EV version features a closed grille paired with a horizontal chrome strip or split headlights, resulting in a sleek and dynamic overall design.

The vehicle offers dual powertrain options:
DM-i Plug-in Hybrid: Equipped with BYD’s fifth-generation DM technology, consisting of a 1.5L Xiaoyun plug-in hybrid dedicated engine (maximum power 74kW) and a 160kW drive motor. It offers two blade battery capacities: 18.3kWh and 26.6kWh, corresponding to CLTC pure electric ranges of 121km and 170km respectively. The maximum combined range with a full tank and full charge is up to 1670km, with NEDC fuel consumption as low as 3.5L/100km when the battery is depleted.
EV Pure Electric Version:** Built on the e-platform 3.0 Evo, the 2026 model comes standard with the second-generation blade battery and flash charging technology. It offers a rear-mounted single motor with power outputs of 240kW (326hp) and 270kW (367hp), providing CLTC pure electric ranges of 605km and 710km. Leveraging an 800V/900V high-voltage platform and flash charging technology, the battery can be charged from 10% to 70% in as little as 5 minutes, and from 10% to 97% in as little as 9 minutes.

Intelligent Driving: All models come standard with the “DiPilot 100” advanced intelligent driving assistance system, supporting features such as Highway Navigation Assist (NOA) and intelligent parking in all scenarios. The 2026 EV version offers optional LiDAR and the DiPilot 5.0 system, which can be upgraded to City Navigation Assist (CNOA).
Intelligent Cockpit: The vehicle features a 10.25-inch full LCD instrument cluster and a 15.6-inch adaptive rotating floating central control screen, equipped with the DiLink intelligent network system (DiLink 100 on higher trims), supporting four-zone voice recognition and 50W wireless fast charging for mobile phones. Higher trims also offer features such as an AR-HUD head-up display and an in-car refrigerator with heating and cooling (temperature range -6℃ to 50℃).
