The Destroyer 05 is positioned as a compact car (A-segment sedan), with dimensions of 4780mm in length, 1837mm in width, and 1495mm in height, and a wheelbase of 2718mm. It adopts a 4-door, 5-seat sedan structure. Its exterior adopts BYD’s Ocean Aesthetics design language, featuring a dot-matrix borderless grille design at the front, inspired by ocean ripples, and a continuous taillight design at the rear. The entire vehicle series is equipped with BYD’s DM-i Super Hybrid System, consisting of a 1.5L naturally aspirated Xiaoyun plug-in hybrid dedicated engine (maximum power 81kW/110hp) and a drive motor, matched with an E-CVT continuously variable transmission.

Pure electric range: Two NEDC pure electric range versions are offered, 55km and 120km (corresponding to WLTC ranges of 46km and 101km), equipped with 8.3kWh and 18.3kWh DM-i dedicated power blade batteries respectively.
Combined range and energy consumption: With a full tank of fuel and a fully charged battery, the combined range can exceed 1200km (up to 1245km). The lowest fuel consumption under NEDC conditions is 3.8L/100km, achieving extremely low operating costs.
